Habit Tracker App
A habit tracker app is a digital tool designed to help users establish, track, and maintain habits in their daily lives. These apps typically allow users to set specific habits or goals they want to achieve, such as exercising regularly, drinking more water, or reading daily.
The app then provides features to help users track their progress, such as reminders or notifications to perform the habit, a calendar or dashboard to visualize their streaks or progress over time, and sometimes even analytics or insights into their habits and behaviour patterns.
I developed a high-fidelity iOS app concept, 'Habit Tracker,' for teenagers and young professionals with ADHD. Ensured responsive design for smartphones, desktops, and Apple Watches.

Problem Statement
Many individuals struggle to establish and maintain positive habits and achieve their personal goals due to a lack of consistent tracking, motivation, and accountability. Traditional methods of habit tracking, such as paper journals or basic digital tools, often lack the functionality and convenience needed to support users effectively in their habit-building journey. This leads to frustration, inconsistency, and ultimately, a failure to reach desired outcomes.
There is a pressing need for a comprehensive habit tracker app that seamlessly integrates features like personalised reminders, detailed progress tracking, insightful analytics, and social sharing capabilities to empower users in building lasting habits and achieving their goals effectively.

Solution
Several solutions can be implemented to address the challenges faced by users in habit tracker apps:
Detailed Progress Tracking: Develop a user-friendly interface that allows users to easily track their progress on individual habits, providing visual representations such as streaks, charts, and graphs to visualize their achievements over time.
Insights and Analytics: Incorporate data analytics features that provide users with insights into their habit patterns, trends, and correlations, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions about their habits.
Habit Customisation: Allow users to customize their habits according to their unique preferences, schedules, and objectives, providing flexibility and adaptability to accommodate diverse lifestyles and goals.

I conducted a competitive analysis of existing products some of which are Headspace and Tangerine, two of the top players in the Global market.
Strengths
• Headspace offers a wide range of guided meditation sessions, sleep sounds, mindfulness exercises, and courses tailored to different needs and preferences.
• The app features an intuitive interface with easy navigation, making it simple for users to find and engage with content.
• Strong Brand reputation.
Weaknesses
• Subscription Model: while the app offers a free trial, access to most content requires a subscription, which may deter users unwilling to pay for premium features.
• Limited Customisation.
• Not Accessibility-oriented.
